Hyderabad: Vexed with the negligence of the unemployed husband, his wife committed suicide. She was the wife of Kaleemuddin, resident of site III of the SR Nagar area.
She took this extreme step by immolating herself. She was rushed to a hospital where she died yesterday during the treatment.
Police report revealed that she had got married in 2013 and she has two children. Her husband Kaleem was working in a shopping mall as an executive. He was unemployed for the past two years.
SR Nagar Police reported that Sultana and Kaleemuddin tied the wed knots as a result of love marriage.
In another incident of suicide, a woman died in the Amberpet Police Station area.
Shivani (23), a resident of Amberpet committed suicide by hanging herself in her house.
Her husband, Sai is an engineer. The parents of the girl are from Karwan area. The couple celebrated the love marriage in 2014. The parents of the girl gave 15 tolas of gold, 2 kg silver, Rs. One lakh cash as dowry and a motorcycle.
The in-laws of the girl were harassing her to get more dowry amount. Vexed with this, she took this extreme step. Police registered a case and started investigation.
