TS Govt. allots costly land at cheap price to Jeeyar Swamy

Hyderabad: Government of Telangana State allotted 2.3 acres of prime land which was under control of Yadagirgutta Temple Development Authority (YTDA) to Sri Tridandi Chinna Srimannarayana Ramanuja Jeeyar Swamy’s Jeeyar Integrated Vedic Academy (JIVA).

According to the report published in Times of India, JIVA got the land at the cost of Rs. 6 lakh per acre despite the fact that the market rate is Rs. 50 lakh per acre.

It is also reported that Jeeyar Educational Trust was given a land admeasuring around 20 guntas on lease for 30 year.

When Jeeyar Swamy requested State government for four acres for ashram and Kuteer, State Govt. handed over 2.3 acres of land for Rs. 16.5 lakh. Jeeyar Swamy decided to give existing leased land and two-floor building to Govt.

It may be mentioned that JIVA got the land which was acquired from the farmers.
