Patralekha, Ali, me had a ball shooting ‘Arranged Marriage’: Omkar

Mumbai: Actor Omkar Kapoor, who will be seen in director-writer Pradeep Sarkar’s upcoming movie “Arranged Marriage”, says he had a ball shooting for the film.

Talking about the film, Omkar told IANS: “It was a different world dada (Pradeep Sarkar) took me in. It is a twisted story of complex relationships of a family. Neel, my character is torn between the people he loves the most.”

The film also stars Ali Fazal and Patralekhaa. “Arranged Marriage” is a modern day love story set in Kolkata.

Asked about the camaraderie he shared with his co-stars, Omkar said: “Ali, Patrelekhaa and I had a ball shooting for it and bonded well over Bengali food and gappe (gossip) sessions.”

Omkar will also be seen sharing screen space with veteran actor Rishi Kapoor in the upcoming film “Jhoota Kahin Ka”.

Directed by Smeep Kang, “Jhoota Kahin Ka” also stars Lillete Dubey, Manoj Joshi, and Sunny Singh. It reunites Omkar with Sunny, with whom he starred in “Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2”.

Omkar has earlier worked on the big screen as a child actor in films like “Masoom”, “Hero No. 1”, “Judwaa”, “Judaai” and “Mela”.
