Deoband: RSS is an organisation which follows V D Savarkar and Golwalkar’s ideology but there seems to be a change in its thinking. A few months ago RSS chief had said that Hindus without Muslims, are nothing and we need to strengthen Hindu-Muslim unity. These views were expressed by Jamiat Ulama-i-Hind national president Maulana Syed Arshad Madani. He said the country wants to move ahead with this change. One who brings that change will be loyal to his country and the one who wants to build a wall of hatred between Hindus and Muslims is anti-national, he said. He was addressing grand Diwali Milan function hosted at Prakash hotel, Majnun Wala Road.
Amidst a round of applause, he recalled his meeting with RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat. He clarified that his meeting with Mohan Bhagwat on August 30, in New Delhi was in the interest of the country and the community. However, if anyone sees it on the wrong angle, it is his own perspective.
Maulana Madani welcomed acquittal of Mohammed Kausar, Gulab Khan and Faheem Ansari. He appealed people to maintain peace on Ayodhya verdict.
