Days after resigning from service, IAS officer Kannan Gopinathan, who says he quit protesting against the Centre’s decisions in Jammu and Kashmir expressed his views on ‘Why he Resigned?’
On August 21, the 32-year-old officer of 2012 batch from the AGMUT cadre, submitted his resignation at the Home Ministry.
In the video, Kannan expressed his view on the abrogation of Article 370 and denial of fundamental rights to residents of Jammu and Kashmir.

Gopinathan, who hails from Kottayam district of Kerala was posted in Dadra and Nagar Haveli as Power and Non-Conventional Energy Secretary.
