Hyderabad: State CID officials told the court of special sessions judge for trial of cases related to MPs and MLAs on Thursday that they would file a counter to the petition filed by city advocate, K Karunasagar, who has sought cancellation of bail granted to AIMIM floor leader Akbaruddin Owaisi.
The bail was granted by the second additional judicial magistrate of first class of Nizamabad town. The counsel for Owiaisi, on his part, also requested time for filling a counter in the case.
This prompted the court to adjourn the matter till August 28. In his petition, Karunasagar told the court that Owaisi violated the bail condition and gave hate speeches at various places of the country, including Hyderabad and Karimnagar.
