Bhatti slams BJP Laxman for criticizing Congress

Hyderabad: CLP leader Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka on Sunday came down heavily against State BJP president K. Laxman for his remarks against the Congress. He said the people in the State were aware of the fact that both ruling TRS and the BJP were hands in glove with each other.

Bhatti said the TRS was extending support to the ruling BJP at the Centre whenever the later wanted. Referring to the statement of Laxman that all the schemes of Chief Minister KCR were scams, Vikramarka said they had been calling all the schemes of the CM as scams since the beginning of his rule.

Citing the Kaleswaram lift irrigation project, Bhatti alleged that the officials had released the stored water at Yellampally project. He also alleged that only one man took part in the Kaleswaram project tender process. He also alleged that Rs 55,000 crore worth tenders of Mission Bhageeratha were also executed by a man of the ruling party leaders. He termed the Palamuru Ranga Reddy and Seetharama project as big scams.

Bhatti demanded that the BJP leaders cause an inquiry into all the redesigned projects of the State government. He said he would also urge the Centre to order an inquiry into the lift irrigation projects in the state. On the joining of other party leaders into the BJP, he said only those who didn’t have any scope in their own parties, were joining the saffron party in the State.
