Mumbai: Mr. Ajaz Khan who had contested from Byculla Assembly Constituency shared a beautiful message after Supreme Court pronounced historic judgment in the decades-old Ram Janmabhoomi-Babri Masjid land dispute case.
On his Twitter account, Mr. Khan wrote, “Main Muslim Hoon, Tu Hindu Hai, Hain Dono Insaan,
Laa Main Teri Geeta Parh Lun, Tu Parh Le Quraan,
Apne Toh Dil Mein Hai Dost Bas Ek Hi Armaan, Ek Thali Mein Khana Khaye Saara Hindustan”.

It may be mentioned that the court had dismissed Shia Wakf Board’s petition. It may be mentioned that the petition claimed that it was constructed by Mir Baqi, a Shia and it cannot be handed over to Sunni. It also dismissed Nirmohi Akhada’s claim.
The court confirmed that there was a temple before the construction of Babri Masjid. It also accepted that Ayodhya is the birthplace of Lord Ram.
The Supreme Court directed the Centre to give five acres of suitable land to Sunni Waqf Board and at the same time make necessary arrangements for the construction of the temple by forming a trust.
